I don't know what Theresa May

I don't know what Theresa May had done in the past that a bandwagon of haters is building up, nor if the people who cast stones on her understand that whatever she did or decided as a politician was part of her Party's policies, but what I see is a person who is trying her best to withstand this storm in her life and in British history. This is exactly why David Cameron resigned, before it got worse, he was quick to save himself from this unwanted mess. Understandably, he could not possibly negotiate something that he doesn't even believe in -- "your mess, you fix it." But Theresa May isn't a Brexiteer either and only inherited this problem, yet she is willing to stand up FOR the people who wanted this. By resigning, she could save herself from more trouble, headache, and unnecessary defamation. By not resigning, she is showing an enormous amount of bravery -- brazen and unfazed. She is in a very difficult position, "damned if you do, damned if you don't." But I guess, sealing your name in history as the nth Prime Minister of one of the most powerful countries in the modern history; visitations to the Buckingham Palace and having tea with The Queen; and all the other privileges that goes with being PM are all worth this mental fatigue. It's just unfortunate that she has to be the face at the beginning of a dark age. When people are not happy with their own lives and are overwhelmed by their discomforts and sufferings, they tend to direct their frustrations on something or somewhere, and more often than not, it is the government that gets blamed. I've seen this in my own country, where all of our Presidents in the past 30 years have endured taunting and defamation, even from the very people who voted for them. It's weird how... most people just go along with the sentiments of the majority, without any rationalization and judgement of their own. I beg to differ. The saddest part for Theresa May is that, even if she rises up to the occasion, the Conservative Party may just decide to sack her once and for all just to win back popularity from the masses -- the only Party she worked for her entire career, could drop her like a hot potato. That is betrayal, and painful -- it's like the death of Julius Cesar all over again -- but that is politics. I bleed for what Theresa May is going through right now... I don't intend to justify what mistake... or crime (sarcasm)... she had done in the past, but I am looking at her her current predicament, and I can't imagine the pressure that she has on her shoulders. She needs an incredible, superhuman strength to weather this storm. I can't wait to see how the events unfold in the coming days.
